Reiki Master & Practitioner

Racquel (Racqui) Borromeo is well-versed and a trained practitioner based in the New York City borough of Manhattan. Trained by both Master Brian Brunius through the NYC Reiki Center and Master Michelle Kennedy, she currently works with clients as diverse as the city’s population.

Reiki came to her during a walking meditation in 2016. While she was walking across the Queensboro bridge in the middle of the night, she felt a rush of spiraling heat from above and upon touching the top of her head, a voice spoke into her right ear saying, “Reiki.” She had never heard nor seen this word before so when she got home, she sat in front of her computer, closed her eyes, and asked her fingers to spell the word exactly as it should be. Upon hitting the Enter key, her whole journey began.

Racquel builds on her background as a professional pianist to deliver simple yet meticulous sessions, focusing on enabling what she believes is the essence of Reiki: Pure and Eternal Divine Love. She is complimented for the soothing and meditative nature of her sessions.

Racqui provides reiki treatments internationally as well as in the Tri-State area. Amongst her many charitable contributions, Racqui has provided Reiki treatment to cancer patients at the American Cancer Society center in Midtown Manhattan. In line with her personal mantra to be of service to as many people as she can reach.

Racquel (Racqui) is a citizen of the world; as an avid traveler, she has explored more than 100 countries and territories (and counting!). Racqui is also a classically trained pianist who has performed nationally and internationally, and she also teaches piano throughout the city. Her piano duo, Duo DiMeo, as well as her four-piano ensemble, Fourtissimo, performs in New York City and engages in multiple charitable causes.
